Cremations & Memorials

After cremation has taken place, the ashes are placed in an urn, identified and if requested, returned to the Funeral Director. The relatives then have the choice of accepting those remains for placement in some location of their choosing.

Alternatively, they can instruct the Funeral Director to scatter the ashes in an area of their choice (river, mountain, valley, etc), or do so themselves.

Turnbull Funeral Home, North Hobart, are the only funeral directors in Hobart who have an "on site" crematorium, thus alleviating the need to move from one venue to another.
